Mmm, jet lag...

Well, I thought I had figured out a way to beat jet lag, but it doesn't seem to be working quite as planned. I had to fly from Seattle to D.C. yesterday, so I knew I would be losing 3 hours. Because I had to catch the bus to the airport, I ended up going to bed around 8 p.m. on Saturday night, so I could get up at 3 a.m. for the bus. When I woke up, I tried to convince myself that it was really 6 a.m. :) It seemed to work more or less, but I just couldn't get to bed last night... I knew it was only about 7:30 p.m. in Seattle, as I was talking to my fiance. I wasn't able to get to sleep till past 11 p.m. local time! Anyone have ways that they deal with jet lag? I think I'll be okay once I get moving and have some food, but right now, I feel a lot more tired than I usually do on a Monday!
