All work no pay makes a housewife

I have a magnet on my fridge that says that and i believe it because you work (clean house, take care of the kids, etc) and you dont get a paycheck each week or every two weeks or every month. Hubby's paycheck dont count lol.
Who all agrees with that? or what is your feeling on that comment? (All work no pay makes a housewife)

I agree 100%. It annoys me to no end at times. Sometimes I protest and don't do a thing, then I have double the work to do the next day. This then starts the cycle again and I get a little angry. I think we should get paid. If so, we'd all be millionaires!

swtjenlove I do agree wholeheartedly. I think all women should haveat least a part time job so that they can have the bestof two worlds ,be there for the kids when they come home from school yer work with adults so that they have other adults to talk to and not just kids and babies. I think kids are actually happier when their moms do work as mom is happy too, and the kids know that.
I am all for parttime jobs and some stay at home but not all
day.women need paychecks too.

I guess it makes sense. I am a house wife and do plenty with no pay but the benefits sure are good. But I also have to admit my life is not all work it is some work, lots of play, and no pay so maybe I don't agree with the saying after all.
