Next July me and my husband are going to renew are vowels. We will be married for 5 years. You ask "why are you renew you vowels at 5 years?" The anwser is because we have been throuth alot in are marriage. We have saprated a few times and got back together. We had death of my so called father, are family inculding are 2 small childern where in a apartment fire. We had to hang them out of the window and drop then to a stranger 2 floors down. There was so much more,Plus when we got married it was thrown togther and it was nothing like I wanted. So I asked my husband if we where still toghther in 5 years if we could renew are vowels and he argreed. So I have been thinking about and latley and I want a theme wedding.I dont want it to be tacky are anything. So does anyone have any good ideas? I was thinking of a country theme but we are not really country. Any suggestions? Thanks to all

Some dear friends of mine are getting married on July 4th. of this year. The ceremony will be outside with a wedding picnic followed by a fireworks display. I'm not very creative so that's the only suggestion I have to offer.

I think this is a wonderful idea, one that my husband and I have also put much thought into. Our wedding vows took place with hardly any notice and no thought - we got married at the court house. We plan to have a wedding reception during our 1 year anniversary, to celebrate the first year. When we hit our 10 year mark, that's when I want to renew our wedding vows - with all of our family involved. (We only had 4 friends with us at the court house) As far as themes, I'm not really sure but a country theme seems like it would be really pretty.

That is a great idea. I wish you and your husband the best of luck. My husband had plans to renew our vows on our tenth wedding anniversary too, but we didn't end up having the money to be able to do that. Our 10th anniversary was on March 14th 2008.
As for ideas for you, it just depends on what you and your husband are interested in, for example, if you both are poker players, you could do some kind of poker/card theme. If you are both into the stars, you could have some kind of celestial theme. Or, how about a beach theme? Here is a couple websites where you can find lots of different ideas. I hope they help.

I hope you find an idea for a theme that is acceptable for you and your husband. Good luck, have a great day.

I can understand this. My husband and have I not been married quite a year and have been through so much. We didnt really have a wedding the first time. I think the perfect way to do it is with an all inclusive trip like to Jamaica. You should check out the Sandals resorts they are great and pretty reasonably priced.
