Update on Jenny

Because so many of my dear friends have asked about Jenny I decided to post an update on her. She is doing really exceptionally well. She is happy and giggling all the time and has very little pain. The braces on her legs prevent her from doing much and we have finally got the knack of moving her and her wheelchair around. She is finally able to move form the wheelchair to the couch or bed by herself and even needs little aid in getting her into the car. She is doing wonderfully. Her attitude would never betray the fact the she just had major surgery two and a half weeks ago. She is so positive and it is infectious. She keeps herself entertained by being on her laptop computer that she got last Christmas, drawing, coloring and by reading. To all my friends who have asked, Thank you for the concern.

hello, thanks for the update, it is great that all is moving forward and that she is showing a great improvement on her situation. im sure she is happy that she is doing most of the stuff now rather than needing an assistance to whatever she does. that's wonderful that she have her own computer to use to whatever that amuse her LOL anyway, i hope she heals faster and be able to feel normal the way she wants it to be. have a good one.

She is doing so well that we are hoping that when she has her four week follow up that they will allow her to start putting weight on her legs.

Jenny is so positive. I wish I had been that way when I had my first shoulder surgery. I was very much like you describe how your post surgery is. I was in a lot of pain for three months and had very severe depression because of it.

Thank you. Most people become addicted to the pain medicines so we started weaning her off of them early and then she just said she did not need them any more.
