Recently my best female friend in the entire world went out with my friend Matt and I. I made her feel out of place because Matt is attracted to me and I guess I just didn't realize I wasn't paying her much attention. Anyone know a way to apologize without saying "I'm sorry"? She hates those words!

No need to apologize. She's your best friend in the world and she loves you. She understands and probably has let it go by now. Stop worrying so much. She knows that you must have other friends and I'm sure she will be okay. If she is still talking to you then let it go.

I love you too! Stop worrying okay....I'll think about going out with you again, but I will probably bring someone else just in case. First I have to get a better hold of my financial situation.

buy her a card and put in it something like you are the best friend ever and i would never intentionally do anything to hurt you.

Hmm hmm. *chuckles* Next time, the mood might be better for her if it was the two of them alone. Now for your question, you may not have to do anything. Just explain yourself without those dreaded words. Of course you could also revisit my idea above and have that as the apology.
