Is there any way to find out truth!

I have never given negative rating to anyone, even if views/opinions given in their response are not to my liking or contrary to mine. But i think there are a few who mark your response 'negative' if you disagree on their discussion or if you post a response that brings to light and establishes that the discussion itself is a wrong one or negative! While i am not at all concerned with these and i do my mylotting in a free and fair manner and with full of hopes that Mylot management is very fair in their judgement, i am just curious to know......is there any way to find out who is the person who is marking your response negative?

I've rated a few conversations negatively. I've even marked a few comments negative that I personally agreed with, but they were comments that were nastily said, poorly written, and generally offensive. I might have been thinking the same thing, but it definitely didn't add to the discussion! 
As for knowing who marked a response negative, I don't think you can find out. I don't think mylot notices unless someone is going crazy with them or 'stalking' someone.

Those are all good reasons for marking it negative. I've also come across some that made no sense at all and marked them negative because it's just not fair for them to be paid for that. I haven't come across any nasty posts as of yet, but I'm sure I will. I'm sure I will rate an ! instead of a negative. Most of my rates are positive especially if I love the post and what they said.

Here's my favorite anecdote that I think about WHENEVER I'AM FACED WITH ANNOYING NEGATIVE PEOPLE.REMEMBER IT AND LAUGH NEXT TIME SOMEONE TRIES TO MAKE OUR DISCUSSIONS MISERABLE.SOMETIMES, all negative people need is A DOSE OF THEIR OWN MEDICINE.

snakequeen I think some people know the rules but think they are too good to follow them. one is not supposed to hit negative
if you are just angry that they did not agree with yuou, you hit
negative if the person has insulted you or flammed you..I have
not heard of any way to tell who is marking responces negative.
I have emailed mylot a few month back when someone with malice
shoved my star from a ten down to a six overnight. I am back up to an eight now. they did catch several people who were hitting the negative key for everyone who did not agree with them.

From what I have read on this site from the post and from the FAQs, there is no way to know. Mylot.com states that no one should rate negative just because they do not agree with a posting, but only should rate negative if the post is somewhat bad in manner. It sucks I know but what can we do? There are people on here that misuse the system to make money so we just have to wait for mylot.com admin to adjust the system.

Thanks for making my response the best response. I really want to try to help as many people as I can on here. It really is a good website and very social. I'm trying to become a teacher, and this lets me see different sides of people and their opinions. Best wishes to you!
