Did you play the Punchbug game when you were a kid? Do you still play it now?... Hitting the person next to you in the car whenver you see a Volkswagon Beetle? Or is this just an American thing? Does anyone do it with a different type of car? C'mon, admit it. You do it!

We called it Slugbug. We also played Padidle, that's when you see a car with one headlight and you call out Padidle, the most wins.

Oh yea, we played padiddle too. I forgot about that. I just read online tonight that some people call the punchbug game Slugbug.

I had never heard of this game until I was in my 30's and a girl at work started to do it to me when we were out to lunch. We were driving along and she goes "Punch Bug Blue" when a blue volkswagen drove by and then she punched me in the arm. I'm like what in the world are you doing? Then she explained the game and that was the first time I played it and had ever even heard of it. I forgot about it altogether!

I remember doing it with cars that had a headlight out. It was called Padittle( however you spell it).
