This morning I posted a discussion - Obama Changes the Presidential Seal http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1573420.aspxNow he is backing out of the idea. Here we go again with Obama saying one thing then changing his mind. Is this what our Country needs as a leader? I think not. Can you imagine just how we will be regarded by the rest of the world with a leader who keeps changing his mind or saying either he was misquoted or his remarks were taken out of context. However his "new seal" was plain to see so it could be taken out of context!A presidential seal graphically altered with symbols representing Barack Obama's campaign of change was just for one-time use and will not be used again, a spokeswoman for the Democrat's campaign said Monday. The seal, with its blue background and an eagle in the center clutching arrows and an olive branch, evoked the official presidential version, but had been altered with a new Latin phrase, instead of the original "E pluribus unum," which means, "Out of many, one."Obama's campaign changed the phrase to "Vero possumus," which can be roughly translated to his "Yes, we can" slogan. The seal also featured his "O" campaign logo covering the eagle's body, instead of a shield. When the altered seal was unveiled last Friday in Chicago, it raised eyebrows and prompted comments about how presidential it looked. The Republican National Committee gleefully ridiculed it as a prop. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080623/ap_on_el_pr/obama_seal;_ylt=AkzL0We.fMjnzU5Wq3745LFh24cA

Obama catches the slightest amount of heat about something and immediately runs. All he cares about is his image, not America. I would hate to have a leader that flip flopped so much. Heck, he flips about things that doesnt matter, imagine on the global scales when he is suppose to be a leader and spokesman of America and people are looking to him, then he flip flops on a topic. That would be bad...

This along with a few other things he has said and done make me wonder if he ever takes the time to think about consequences. Not that McCain is much better. You would think that politicians of all people would look before they leap wouldn't you?

At least if they did not have the sense to think someone among their many campaign managers, volunteers etc. might have some intelligence.

Just another example of the true nature of Obama's politics. It's not about the USA, not about E pluribus unun, or what is best for the nation, but about Obama. What arrogance!
