Do you have your TV or radio on?

I usually have my tv on when I am working on my laptop here in the living room. I have a wireless network in my house, so I can work on the laptop from anywhere in my house and parts of my yard. I rarely take it outside, but I do work in different parts of the house. I have the tv on if I am in the living room, but when I am working in my office or the bedroom, I usually have a radio station or yahoo music playing. I also have a few cd's that I listen to. I don't like it when it is totally quiet. I have a hard time concentrating on anything when I don't have some background noise of some sort, so I usually at least have CNN playing on tv or something. Having the news or something playing also gives me ideas to write about sometimes.

I am married with three eanage daughters so at all times someone is watching something on tv. So in answer to your question, yes my tv is on as it is at all times. My wife and girls watch tv all of the time when they are not on the other computer. Have a wonderful day!!!

I have little FM radio which I keep playing music on hen am online-it makes being online a nice experience

Hie Bee, I used to have both TV & radio on and now just the radio as my TV has gone caput after the thunderstorm one day. I am alright with some background noises and I could sleep through too. And sometimes I do get some ideas from the radio through the musics and DJs Otherwise it would be too quiet and can be boring. Guess I like the spiced up mood Cheers and happy posting.

I never switch on them because mylot requires some concentration so I feel that my concentration should not be distrubs other wise it leads to consuming much time so I donot prefer to switch on.

Lazeebee, I normally do multi tasking. While at the PC, most of the time my TV is also on. Not only that. I might be Mylotting while toggle over to read news or emails or even listening to songs from You Tube when the TV is off.

I always have my tv on or I should say usually. I listen to it, the news or shows I like while I am here doing whatever. Sometimes I put the tv on music channels to listen and watch videos as I am working here. It all just depends on how I feel and what I want to have in addition to doing stuff here. Sometimes not often, I want it quite when I'm here.

Definitely! I almost always have my tv on or music playing from my i-tunes library. I was the same way all through college. I have to have background noise to really focus. Not just any, it has to be something I enjoy, otherwise it annoys me and I can't think straight. I'd say my favorite thing to have on tv while doing stuff online or whatever is re-runs of shows I like, that way I'm not really missing anything I haven't seen before, but I have something to listen to.

It ruins my concentration specially I'm not good in this english language that we use her in mylot. Everytime I heard some noise I get disturbed and it ruins my concentration and forgot the words that I have in mind. I just don't use mylot if theirs so many people around. I don't like TV and radio on if I am using mylot.

I don't have a television but I do like to listen to the radio. I can listen to a radio station on my laptop, but I find it hard to concentrate on myLotting, or any other activity on the internet, and to listen at the same time, so I prefer not to have any background noise while I am myLotting.
