no reason for the lakers to overhaul their team. they will be getting a healthy bynum next season and that is good news for the team and the fans as well. there are rumors though that they will be trading odom to have more salary cap and to re-sign bynum for an extended contract. in my book, i think the lakers should also get more accurate shooters. them serbians can't hit water even if they fell out of a speed boat. lol!

Lol. I like the fact that Andrew Bynum would be back for L.A. I do hope they keep Lamar Odom. Haha. I think he is fit to the system of LA but he has to work a lot. Oh yeah. More accurate shooter. Dang it. Those shooters disappeared in the Finals. xD

well there are rumors that lakers will trade with the bulls. they are sending odom, farmar, and walton to chicago for heinrich and deng. i think this trade will work well for the lakers since they get a solid point guard in heinrich and a good spot up shooter in deng. heinrich is also a good defender, not the lock down type but defintiely an upgrade from fisher and farmar. also, heinrich can penetrate, spot up, or dish out the ball. however, i think lakers will need to throw in more if they expect to get deng out of the bulls.

Vlad Rad can't guard anyone - he needs to be replaced by a more athletic small forward. LaMar Odom disappears in big games. As a fourth option he is a quality player but they need a reliable scorer after Kobe and Pau. If Bynum comes back healthy next year, then I would trade Odom for an athletic three, use Bynum, Gasol, and Turiaff as my 4/5 combo, hope Farmar makes the leap next year.

I do agree. And Radmanovic is in the Starting 5. How great right? He can't even defend. Lol. I think Farmar would improve. As for Turiaf, he even has more intensity than Gasol. xD

The Lakers are a good team that was beaten in the NBA Finals by a superior team. Los Angeles' folded under the pressure in terms of offense and defensively this team is average at best. With Bynum's return, there should be a better chance in frontcourt defense and Farmar will improve. Overall there is no need for an overhaul to L.A.'s roster.

No, there in the place they need to be. They got good chemistry now and good players. I think the lakers are the best team for the next 2-3 years.
