The more I read the Bible the better I get to know the Lord who inspired it. The Bible says we are to study to show ourselves approved, that we can rightly understand and explain the Word of
Truth. I feel I should read and meditate on the Bible every day if I am able. You are right that some Christian denominations only believe to use the King James Version and some only believe to use the New Testament, thinking that the Old Testament doesn't apply to the Christian Church. My belief is that it is acceptable to use other versions as they help clarify many passages of scripture that the King James would be difficult to understand and words that had different meanings back then than they do today. I also believe in using the whole Bible, Old and New Testaments, as the Lord said that not one tiny part of the Law shall pass away until all of it is fulfilled.
