Old, old photo of my Great-Great Grandmother - glass photo of my great-great grandmother
Now you touched on my of my all time favorite subjects, photography as I love to photograph and have a large collection of my own photos I've taken over the many years. But yes, I have a lot of photos from the past...of my parents when they were children, my grandparents, and even great-grandparents. My most treasured photos are the old glass photos that look like they came from the Civil War period here in America...the one woman in the photo I have must be my great-great grandmother...I have it here--if I'm doing my math right LOL..the photo is 144 years old at least!!!

That is an awesome photograph, pywacket. Don't ever lose it. I can imagine the history that goes along with that picture. Wonderful!

Dad in New Guinea - This might have been taken around 1958 or so. Dad and his motor cycle could not be separated. He always rode with his buds through the New Guinea jungles, rivers and on beaches. FUN!!!
Oh, I've got tons and tons of vintage photographs, black and white and some of them are fading so we've restored them. I am an avid collector. It's family history that is so precious especially after we lose our loved ones. Our photograph are from quite a few countries so I'm loving it. I don't know how far these date but some were taken right after WWII in Indonesia, New Guinea, The Netherlands, and Australia. The US pictures are pretty modern. Anyhow, it's a wonderful hobby.
