I am playing scrabble in my pc right now and i just find it a very challenging game because my opponent is the computer and it is very smart that I find the online version cooler than the traditional scrabble game. I am quite ashamed to admit that i am yet to won a round but I don't mind because i am learning a lot just by playing against a smart computer. Of course I would still want to play with a real person than a pc because it is so much fun. I and my boyfriend played this yesterday and we really enjoyed it. As a child me and my siblings would play this as an indoor game. Scrabble is part of my childhood.

It's been quite ages since I have played scrabble with my family and relatives, back when there were no computers, laptops, mobile phones, and other techie gadgets yet.
But unlike you, I haven't played this game online mainly because I don't have a computer at home and as I have stated in a lot of discussions here, I only get to surf the internet while I'm here in the office and only during lunch breaks.
I've got to admit that I really missed this game. This would usually fill our afternoons every weekends, my aunts, uncles, and my female cousin. I grew up with them and most of my childhood was spent with them because I studied here in the city while my parents and siblings stayed in the province.
Now, I already have a family of my own with a loving daughter who is turning three this year. And with this discussion, I'm going to make a reminder for myself to buy a set in the near future, when our daughter is already studying and knows how to read and write. I believe this will help enhance her thinking and playing scrabble is a productive way to do just that.

we played scrabble in our office after eating lunch. it's very funny because we tease anyone who have the lowest score. we used a big dictionary in order to see if the word used was really in the dictionary. playing scrabble is enjoyable and it also widens our knowledge...

I absolutely love Scrabble. I find it almost impossible to beat the computer though. I suggest using cheap tricks and making as many Bingos as possible (though its impossible most of the time). Also look for words you can add prefixes and suffixes to (add re- and -ing to "fix" to get "refixing")

When we were still kids, my brothers and sisters used to play scrabble. Actually, the most enjoyable scrabble memories were the ones we had against our father. It was really fun. More than that, scrabble was very useful in improving our vocabularies. Just like you, I also scrabble in my PC anytime I have free time but, of course, human opponents are surely much more challenging than the computer.

I haven't played scrabble online just the game board type and I find it much more interesting to play with a live person than the computer. I find it more challenging because your playing against other brains not a machine.

I like playing scrabble but not too often. I play the "traditional" one with the board and the tiles. I usually play with my mom and my cousins. My mom has 2 scrabble boards, the huge one and the one that you can bring when you're traveling. My mom and aunt are the ones addicted to it.

I love scrabble! I do play the traditional scrabble game and I also play scrabble online. I learned to play scrabble at a very young age. I love playing scrabble especially with my cousins. It is my ultimate favorite board game!

That is a game I'm afraid off. When I can't think of a word I literally go crazy racking my brains to find it.
I tried crossword puzzles once and nearly tore my hair out a few times.
I had a friend who did crosswords everyday and solved all of them.
My nieces play scrabble and enjoy it.
I'm just naturally afraid to having to scratch my mind.
I know its wonderfull but it could be frustrating if you're like me.
I hope you enjoy every game you play and never go crazy playing them.

My wife and I enjoy playing Scrabble. We're very competitive. We've played for a lot of years and I'd say it's a 50-50 winning percentage. There was a night we played three games in a row. I won the first by one point. She won the second by one point. And we tied on the third game. Guess that's about as close to even as you can get.

I never really played before, but the last few weeks my partner and I have often sat down together in an evening and played. It's a lovely way to spend quality time together and I like it when I beat him!
We were really lucky, I found the game at a car boot sale, being sold for £1. It's in really good condition and still has all the pieces. Bargain!

I enjoy playing scrabble and play online too, but with an opponent. I usually play via email at scrabulous.com with my husband, but I have played with other friends too. It really is a lot of fun, and since it's not really 'live', you don't have to be playing at the same time.
