Changing Preferences????

Can someone please tell me how to change my preferences?? I tried to reply to a post this morning and it wouldnt let me submit my reply. It said that I needed to change my preferences to accept mature content and I evidentally Im not quit smart enough to figure out how to do it.....lol Thanks !
