Do Your Other Half Give/ Send You Cards from Time to Time?

My honey used to buy cards and gifts for me all the time before our baby was born. Now he puts the same money on toys for our little daughter. To me, that is the sweetest thing he could do. He is saying that he cares for her very much and wants her to be happy. And, when she is happy, then I am happy! And to me, that is pure gold! Be well. Thanks for the lovely topic.

Hello wondericequeen, My husband is very lazy *laughs* Even if he remembers a special date for me, he will just let me remind him about it. He doesn't like to write (tell you a secret...his handwriting is very very terrible...) and he doesn't like to surf the net just to search for e-card or whatever. He doesn't like to go out, window shopping too. So with all the reasons above, you can get the answer for your question. No, my dear friend, we never exchange cards, as we are both frugal tightwads. We do paint each other paintings, though it that counts, and when we are in a shop we look at the cards together and point out which ones we would send each other if we were apart, god forbid. Sometimes we buy cards together to bring home and remember a place we visited by, and then after keeping them a while, we send them to somebody else. Mostly, though now that we have digital cameras and computers and printers, we make our own cards, though.

i dont agree with that fact that you have to give cards if you love someone...its not necessary unles you made iot by yourself...right..;) i had sent very few cards to my gf...according to me the best thing is togertherness....i think thats the best thing to feel your partner and maker her undrstand that you are theer with her.....
