I don't think euro is the best currency. While euro is the common currency for member nation in Europe, the American dollar stand stable among any nation in the world.

Euro coins - The Euro is the money used by most members of the European Union and is a way of allowing more freedom and less hassle when travelling within the European Union. There are still a few countries that want to hold on to their own currency.
I wouldn't necessarily say that its the best currency but I think it's a nice idea to have all member of the EU using a similar currency as it should give everyone in that union a feeling of being part of a large community where there are no prejudices. However, I do find it really really frustrating that there are countries within the EU that feel the need to maintain their own original currency. I think that if a country wants to form part of a union they must be prepared to relinquish certain things and money should be one of them.
