The Beatles were an absolutely amazing group and their songs will always be around. I've listened to the Beatles all my life because my mom loved them, she even had the Beatles haircut, which we still tease her about! I have an old Beatles lunch box full of clippings from newspapers and magazines from when they first got big and when they first came to the US, it's something that I will always treasure. I do have to say though, there are much better Beatles songs out there than "Yellow Submarine" that you should look in to! Enjoy!

Really. Did you take a picture of her hair cut then? I would have been great if you did so you can pass it on to generations to generations.

I like The Beatles music, they have some pretty good music that really is timeless, when I was a teenager I had their record of "From Me To You" left on my door step in a brown paper bag with my name in beautiful scrolled writing on it, I never did find out who put it there...

Really?!! Wow that is something! I would be desperate to find out who it was but then again how can you know who did that. Were you surprised to see that at your door step?

yes it bugged me, I was living at home at the time, someone knocked on my door once and then they must have ran away, my mother went to the door there was no-one there and she brought in the parcel...I would loved to have known who put it there...

The Beatles, as other artist of every genre, went through different steps of developement and artistic conception. Just compare there "She loves me", at about the start of their global carreer, with the later "In My Life (There are Places I Remember) and the more later "Strawberry Fields" or "Let it Be". I don't know your taste, of course, but I assure you that from the artistic point there are many, many songs you might cherish.

Yes I agree with you. There are a lot of Beatles fan out there and myself included. I liked listening to their songs but not all. I particularly liked the songs they sang in their early years. Most of them love songs and rock and roll. I did not like the music they made during the early to late 70's though. But I can say I am still a Beatles fanatic.

I don't know much about the Beattles lyrics, my daughter does. She down loads lot of their songs and she got me to listen to the "yellow subarine" song.
