years ago in another state i would buy ice cream cakes at kroger.. now i go there and all they had was those weird wanna be blizzard things and i dont like them.. i dont wanna go to dairy queen because i think they are more expensive than kroger was but does kroger even do the regular ones anymore? do you have to like request them or something?? i liked getting them there and there are like 5 mins away instead of 15 to dairy queen

My local Kroger's only has the Carvel icecream cakes that you buy and have them write on. They don't actually make their own, here. I know Publix makes their own, maybe you could try there? Or Bruster's?

Awww that sucks! I remember them having them here in AL but I haven't been to Kroger in a while so I don't know if they still do. Do you have another local ice cream place besides DQ? I've found that a lot of little shops actually have the ice cream cakes too. So do some restaurants.
