Theres a snake in the toilet!!!

Not my toilet as I wouldnt be sat here otherwise but a story in my local paper said there was a snake in a toilet.
A mother who found a 1.2m (4ft) snake in her toilet thought her partner was playing a joke until she pulled the flush causing the snake to slither onto the floor of the bathroom!! RSPCA captured the harmless Californian king snake.
Can you imagine, your just about to go to the loo and see a snake, how scared would you be????

A couple of years ago I would have been scared witless, if it happened now though I would just think that one of my hubbys had escaped! It is funny that now my hubby keeps them I am not bothered by them at all. I would be if it was a venemous one though!

I know what you are saying and if we did not know anything about snakes it would be scary. But the kids all know the different snakes and all the stuff about them, even my two year old can identify them!

What if it wasnt one of your husbands though? What if it had been one of your kids that found the snake?? I would be scared no matter whether its friendly or deadly!!!

I hope that you don't have a shower in your house Cinders. Several years ago I was in Nepal staying in a military Officers Mess. Whilst we were there a female visitor went to have a shower. She did all the things that ladies do in the shower, lathered up and washed her hair when a small, but highly venomous snake came out of the plughole upset and irritated by the hot water and soap. The lady screamed like she had never screamed before. A male with us went and banged on the door and asked what the matter was, She told him to come in quick and get her out of the shower. He smashed the glass, literally picked the naked hysterical woman up and carried her out, having the foresight to grab a towel on the way out. He was very popular afterwards! I have no idea what happened to the snake. It was clean at least!

I dont have a shower at the moment but the council are refurbishing all the properties in a couple of weeks so I'll have one after then!!!
Gosh, I would hate to find a snake in my house, I dont know what I would do!! I would probably knock on the next door neighbour and ask them if they would be brave enough to find it and remove it and keep me company for a while!!
So what would a fish do if a snake dare enter his water???

I would have run out of the house screaming! I would be afraid of the bathroom the rest of my life if a 4 foot snake come slithering out of my toliet! I am glad the poor lady didn't have a heart attack!
