I had to take Blossom, one of the new kittens, and Taj to the vet yesterday.
Taj got a cortizone shot and the baby got some antibiotics and eye ointment cause she's got a sneeze and a drippy eye.
That's not want I want to tell you about. Joyce, the vet who treated the cats, is also the one that did the c-section to deliver Solo. I told her, "Solo was born 4 years ago yesterday."She said - "yeah, hard to believe"My "grandson" was born 4 years ago! I remember when he was just a tiny baby with his bad -"teenaged" mother.

Ok, now your vet is getting scary! lol. The way you have written this makes it sound as though you cad a c-section and gave birth to a cat! lol.
I hope little Blossom got better. Cat flu is no joke and can kill very quickly.

Gosh, the vet bills are never ending for you! I think it is time you bought your own vet surgery!

4 years is a long time for animls, but not so for humans. Just like cats having kittens versus teenagers having kids. Strange how that is, huh?

Ah, they're always babies to us, that's part of why we love them so. That and they're adorable and furry.

Oh, I love these vets. In fact, if I didn't go to these vets, I could barely afford 1 cat, much less all the rest!
I'll be sorry when the clinic leaves, but I don't see any other vets coming in to it now. And they all got their vet degrees when I graduated college so they aren't exactly spring chicks anymore.

I think that's just great that the vet remembered a birth of a patient 4yrs. ago. I love when vets are personal with their patients and know all about their history and sometimes parents' history as well.

I am there all the time, but Joyce took Cappie and Solo home with her because they don't have anyone there at the clinic at night. She said that Solo cried so loudly that she had to put him back with his mother so she could get some sleep.
They told me they preform lots of c-sections on small dogs, but very seldom need to do one on a cat. So he's memorable in many ways.

I guess you never can tell how is a grandmother you do not have to be blood relations to be a grandmother. In this case you do not even have to be the species

What a cute kitty cat!
I am a cat mom too and love cat
stories. I'm always telling funny
stories about my cats too.
My cats haven't had kittens.
We adopted a girl kitten as companion
for our boy kitten about ten years ago.
They were best pals for ten years until
we got the new kitten and now all the cats
fight. It's OK, they are starting to get
used to each other now.
Thanks for the cute pic!
