What are you doing to keep cool this summer?

It's officially summer! Here in Louisiana it is steaming, blazing HOT. And the humidity is no better. So to keep cool this summer I only go outside in the morning or in the evening. But it still be hot. I drink a lot of cold water and juice and I eat a lot of popsicles, ice cream, and cold watermelon. When I'm outside I try to stay in a shaded area. In the backyard there is a couple of big trees that provides lots of shade. When I'm inside I have the central air and ceiling fans on. What do you do to keep cool during the summer?

Here in Oklahoma it gets hot too, right now its not too bad yet, wait till around July and August then its blazing hot. I usually try to stay inside as much as I can, where the a/c is. I can't get too hot or I tend to get nosebleeds if I do, I drink alot of cold water, and iced tea. I like to go out early in the morning or late in the evening, go sit in the shade for awhile.

Oh yes, it gets hotter here around that time too. The same thing happens to my sister when she gets overheated.

When I am in Canada I drink a lot of cold drinks from the local coffee shop, whih also happens to be air conditioned. When I am in Arizona, I spend a lot of time in our condo's swimming pool.
