Why do men always think their farts smell like....

Why do men always think their farts smell like what they ate earlier in the day? My huband always thinks that hi farts smell like what he ate earlier in the day. Like after we eat steak for dinner he'll later fart and say "Smells like steak" or after a hamburger "It smells like a burger!". I was watching Tori Spelling's show "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" and her husband Dean kept farting and he said "Mmm, smells like potato chips - what we had for dinner!". I swear I think all men think their own farts smell like food!

Oh, man! An old boyfriend of mine had a lot of "fresh and invigorating scents" that even made construction workers run for their lives! One poor, innocent cashier had to go home sick because of one of his "fresh and invigorating scents". LOL

I don't know - I can always tell when my gentleman has eaten something in the cabbage family - or even garlic, so there might be some truth to it. But, I think mainly, men think bad smells are good - the stinkier the better! They just like to bust on us by saying it smells like what they ate, maybe to entice us over to see. Then it's GOTCHA!! They do have a rather unnatural affinity for rank aromas - kind of like a dog rolling in doo in the yard!! LOL

LOL Interesting topic!
I married the world's champion when it comes to farting! I honestly believe he's half gas, half human. But he's never talked about it's, ummm... aroma. He just apologizes each time unless he's asleep when he does it.

Wow! You're lucky! Mine does his on purpose I think - I mean he poses when he does it thinking he's funny. Then he always says it smells like what we had for dinner. It really gets old after a while. At least yours apologizes. Mine just keeps going with it because it amuses him.

My ex had names for them. His favorite was the "One cheek sneak". Men do seem to be easily amused, don't they? LOL

Personaly I dont think this way! How can the gas pass that Quickly? I think fart smell like farts nothing more and for sure nothing a person wants to or did eat. Maybe this is just a macho way of saying excuse me? Thanks for post I can respond to with out tomuch thought! :)

Put a dryer sheet in your husbands pants and then when he passes gas ask him what that smells like and see if he can guess it.LOL.It might deoderize your room and you wont need them plug in air freshners or it might make you not want to smell the scent again.LOL.If we could only use mens gass for as for are car.Boy would we be saving.LOL.
