Tap water vs Bottled water

Hi all,
Do you prefer water from a tap or bottled water? I don't really see the difference between the two. Tap water is free, and can be drunk at any time without having to go to the shops! I just wonder why people prefer to buy bottled water when water is running free from the taps!

Well i think it all depends on where you live. If you live in a place where the water is well treated and you are very sure of the quality, then tap water is fine. But if you are in a place where you have doubts about the water quality, then it would be safer to use bottled water. One thing about bottled water is you can not be absolutely sure where it comes from. It may well be from some tap somewhere.

I prefer bottled water because it will pure water where as for tap water it comes from pipelines and crossing different areas so better to drink clean water

We out our tap water into a filter pitcher and that works great. Water bottles I think are for convenience. We use them for camping, we freeze them ahead of time and use them to keep the cooler cold, then we have something cold to drink!

i like bottled water better tahn tap water. bottled water tastes different than tap water.
