Women are the much weaker vessel!!!

Women are considered to be inferior to men in most cultures, religions, and political systems. I believe that women are entitled to all the same rights, privileges, and opportunities as men, but we are not the same. How can anyone look at the average man next to the average woman and say they are the same? Don't get me wrong here, I am talking about the average not the exception. I can feel the stones already. Men should honor and appreciate for all their contributions, but how are we equal? Commence.

I don't think men and women are the same, but women are certainly just as good (if not better than) men in most situations. Women have the intelligence, the determination, the strength (I don't mean physical), the capacity to succeed just as well as men. The only hindrence on this are the people who think otherwise. A woman can succeed just as well as any man with hard work, determination, and skill. Anyone who doesn't think so is unfortunate and sad because they cannot see what I can. Women are not weaker if they choose not to be. Some women choose to be portrayed as the weaker of the sexes and this is a shame, but luckily there are plenty of women out there who want to be strong.

I agree with what you are saying, I just would have been very rude and worded it totally differently...I'm giving you a plus for this comment because you managed to be so tactful...something that I simply cannot do!

Well, clearly men and women are not the same, though they are perhaps more similar than different, but equality, in this sense, does not mean equivalent. That is just a confusion. Here, equality means of equal value. Just as some people have greater skills and talents than others and so in terms of their properties are not equal still they are of equal value. So, are men and women equal in their qualities? No. Are they equal in their values? Yes. all the best urban

Presumably, pretty much the same as you mean when you say, "Yes there are obvious differences between men and women." But leaving it open that some differences may not be so obvious. all the best urban

Please read more carefully, I have said men and women, (In fact all people) are not equal in qualities or properties. Who gets a job should be decided on the basis of who is able to do better able to do it, qualifications, in the sense of formal qualifications, are not always the best measure. all the best urban

So you mean that if a man and a woman applied for a job and the woman had better qualifications she would get the job...right? Is that what you mean by equal in qualities?

the equality part lies in the brain and not the brawn. Is a man and a wild animal equal? No, the wild animal has more muscle than the man and hence superior in strength. That’s why the donkey pulls the cart and the man drives it. Just think of it in the man-woman context

I believe men and women are both equal....different but equal....Physically men are stronger......Mentally women are much more stronger than men.......Anyone who says women are weak and inferior they are kidding themselves, I really hate the guys who try to tell the world how women should be doing house work and not field work because its what they are meant to do and that they can not do field work...I once took down the whole schedule of my mum and i was surprised that it can be sooooo much of work. You will see their are so many success stories of women in almost every field...And I hear first time a women is to become 4 star general in US army.....People who consider women as something inferior are normally coward who can not accept them as their equal because that would hurt their EGO.

Women should take care of their child, and doing houseworks. This maybe the reason of women's inferior. They should do houseworks, and take care of child, then they don't have much time on work, they can't earn much money from work. Then this made they are inferior in the family, and women are not so strongle, so they are weaker when confront some situations.

You know what - when you can form a correct sentence and give specific reasons for your views then maybe I'll believe women are inferior in some ways. (Doubtful though) Besides, we women tend to use our brains and work harder in the home then many men I know who work outside the home. Oh, and by the way I've got news for you on the work issue. I bet I can name ten women who make more in a day than you ever will.

Equal? ...still getting there! Women have been fighting for their rights, and will continue to. There's always been that 'less-than-equal' feeling everywhere. In developed countries, women are more fortunate than some parts of the world where they are not even allowed out of the home. Even in the corporate world, women CEOs or directors are almost always regarded with some suspicion on their capabilities. The world as a whole hasn't been very fair to womankind, right?

No offense, but how did women get to be inferior anyway? I believe we should be equal, but as far as endurance and all I would say that women can be superior. That is not saying that I think we are, but I am saying I don't get how religiously men are superior to women when it is women who have to carry the children and endure all the pain and stress involved with that, have monthly visitors that can cause a great deal of pain, and all that, while men generally do not carry as heavy a burdon, at least not in that respect. I am not at all sexist and as I said, we should be seen as equals, but to me every single religion which thinks that men are superior is warped and illogical.

I really cannot give my real opinion on this, I am too much of a b*tch. But I will say that you are right about the stones.

Yea well, for anything we lack in physical strength (for some of us anyway) we more than make up for it in common sense and intellect compared to most men I've known. Your post (clearly designed to piss us off) certainly proves my point on that issue. And stones? Its not worth the effort - thats called using my head. Something others should try now and then.....
