Do you reply to Text Messages immediately?

I am one of those people who do not reply to Text Messages immediately. Usually, after I read a text message, I will not reply immediately (except for those real urgent ones)
I will usually wait till I am really free or wait till I remember again before I reply.
A few of my friends are really unhappy with this habit of mine. They expect me to reply to their text messages immediately. I feel bad sometimes. So, whenever I remember, I will try to reply immediately. However, most of the times, I still do not reply immediately. 
I guess old habits are difficult to kick.

yes i do!! that if i am free... i love texting... thats my happiness especially now that i am away from my friends...thats the way we talked bout the latest.. lol
aside from chatting on net and emails... but if i am at work i wait for my break and sometimes if the boss is bot there... i will sneak out the back and reply my messages hehehe... they said that when it comes to texting... i am soooo active... hahaha

well, usually i reply to text messages immediately especially if they are time sensitive, like someone asking for an update of where i am because they are trying to meet me now.
other times, when the message is something that can wait, or something that requires a longer reply i will reply later.
it also depends on when the message was sent. if it were sent during office hours when i'm very busy then i will reply later. however, if i get something during a boring meeting at work then i will reply immeidately. the thing about having a hp is to be able to reply fast, so i guess that's why people expect that.

Usually, if I am not in a meeting, the messages will be replied immediately. But if I am busy, or in a meeting, unless the message is urgent, it will have to wait.
There are certain priorities that need to be set.
Can you imagine, sitting in a meeting with your big boss, then a message comes in. While he is talking, there you are, typing furiously with your thumb to reply to messages. Not very nice right?

I always try to reply to text messages as soon as I can. If I'm too busy to respond obviously I wait until I have time to reply. I always try to get back to people as soon as I can b/c I don't like people waiting for me. My sister always waits until the next day to reply to my text messages. I know she's busy with kids and work but by the time she replies, I forget what I texted her about to begin with. I don't like to wait so I try not to let people wait for me either.

I didn't mean to make you feel bad, poohgal. I was just giving my opinion. I didn't mean to imply anything. I just wanted to tell my point of view on the topic. I know you don't mean anything by it when you reply to text messages a little late. Your busy and that's okay. I'm sorry I made you feel bad, that certainly wasn't my intention.

I usually don't reply immediately unless its real important, and they need my answer now. I don't have a text message plan on my phone plan, so it costs me everytime I send a text message, so I'm very careful about that.

I try to reply as soon as possible, unless it's something I might need to think about. But I get annoyed when I text someone and they don't text me back, so I try to keep this in mind.

luckily i dun mesage u, if not i will have to wait till my neck gets real long b4 u will reply or maybe i wait till i have forgotten about my msg, then u will reply.. lol ^_^
I guess your frenz should know this habit of yours and they should call u instead of texting le.. haha
For me, i will make it a point to reply back immediately, because once i wait, i will sure forget to reply them and they wun text me again to ask the same things.. lol

No because I don't get any. I had it blocked on my phone because so many people just send all those forwarded jokes and it ended up costing me a fortune. I don't miss it.

i replied fast when im nit busy that im only holding my cellphone But if i have lots of doing gosh when i read it after 1 hour . i replied very late .

No, I dont. Sometimes, I dont reply at all. Depeding on who the text was from, I will consider texting that person back. If the person texting me is an annoying person or has written something silly or pointless, I will not reply. I usually reply to my good friends, family and boyfriend always but for other people, I dont even bother. I know that sounds a little mean, but why waste money on a text message when I dont have to? Thats my way of looking at it.

Well my house usually get crappy reception so I have to stop and reply to them all once I get all 500000 in a small reception zone, but I normally reply pretty quickly. I don't mind, but sometimes I won't reply instantly because I think it over but I like to get it out of the way before I forget I even got a text.

Hi friend, i always try to reply immediatly when i get text messages. Some of my messages got 6 responses. I feel very happy when i get text messages. Whether it is mylot private message or mobile text message. If i feel somebody's absence i just pm them.

LOL I fI have my phone with me and I hear it then yes i do reply as soon as I get the msg. I love talking to ppl so if they msg me I always give them what they seek lol

That would depend on whether I check my phone immediately.
I do not always check my phone immediately upon hearing or feeling a sms notification.
When I ultimately check it, I will usually reply immediately to get it out of the way - unless it is something that I simply cannot give an immediate response to.

I rarely get text messages so any message that reaches me takes on a high priority. I try to answer as quickly as I can, that much courtesy I can extend to whoever sent the text message.

whenever i receive messages, i reply right away. my friends sometimes would get annoyed coz they receive a reply a minute after they sent me a message. some love it coz they get a reply right away! =)
