Hi there pshiv29! Welcome to the myLot community! Do not worry about the rating system for now. I suggest that for the meantime, you just enjoy your stay here. Good luck to you and happy posting!

I don't pay any attention to the rating system. I usually rate everybody a + even though it doesn't make me any money. The only time I do differently is if I find a post that clearly defies the TOS. Then I report it. Just post quality discussions, give quality comments on other people's discussions and enjoy myLot. Your rating will take care of itself.

Hi there, I joined a couple of weeks ago, am I am still making up my mind on whether to stay. You dont make a ton of cash (I am at 1.93 and post about an hour a day for a rate of 14 cents an hour), but some of the discussions are good. There are other sites that pay more to post about stuff, but I think I will wait until I get to 500 posts and see if it is worth it after I can cut and paste. Oh and alot of times they admins will erase your posts and responses without warning. Beware.
