I heard something today on cnn about in 30 days or around the end of next month gas could be down to 2.00 a gallon. I had to call a friend to make sure i wasnt hearing things and she said she heard something similar to that so i am wondering has anyone else heard about that?

I haven't heard anything, but I haven't been paying too much attention, either. It doesn't seem likely, considering who's president. I'd like to see it below $2.

I haven't heard anything about that but it would be great if it happened. My budget can't stretch too much more!

That would be great if that is going to happen. I just not to long ago commented to a discussion that someone started about going over the border for gas cause it was $2.66 a gallon. That would be great like i said but how long would that last. It would make me think that something is wrong for it to go down all of a sudden when it has gone up as much as it has in the last couple of weeks. Then how long would it last at that price before it went back up again? Have a good one.

I've heard several news commentators discussing gas prices while I'm stuck in heavy traffic while trying to get to and from work. They all seem to agree that we're headed to about $7.00 before the new year. If I could find $2 gas, I wouldn't be so upset that Miami has such a lousy public transit system!

Wow, just imagine if that happened in England !! I'd be grateful to see it come down that low for a LITRE!! You can guarantee that however low it drops elsewhere its not about to drop here. our local garage put its price up by 5pence per litre in just 6hours last week - lowest price I've seen lately is £1.159 per litre.

I would be very happy if it dropped down to such a low price, but like the majority of the people at this sight I don't see the price dropping any time soon. It's wishful thinking to believe otherwise. On the other hand, CNN is a worthy source for factual information when it comes to economics.

I read something regarding the HOPE that prices will go down at the end of the month of July in conjunction with Saudi Arabia's announcement last week that they will start "releasing" an extra 200000 more barrels of oil per day. It could just be speculation but it sure would be nice.
