If there's one thing that grates my nerves about internet lingo it's excessive punctuation. People think it's a good way to get attention but it makes me cringe. I tend to glaze over ads or discussions with more that one exclaimation point or question mark. What are some things you find annoying about internet lingo?

Oddly enough, that so called "l337" speak is extremely easy for me to read, or at least easier than it probably should be. I hate when people can't just type out the words "u" and "ur", and all of the other dumb things that people say. When you can actually type, it doesn't take that long to type things out. Seriously.

I agree about the excessive punctuation. I also dislike "1337" or "leet" speaking, when numbers and symbols are used for spelling. 1f 1 w4n73d 70 r34d numb3r$ 1 w0uld s7udy m47h!!!!

Text language, where people shorten words and write stuff like l8ter. I find that much harder to read than normal language and I tend to read it at this speed.
