I go through phases with jewellery some days I will wear some nice dangly earings, and a necklace. Other days I wear none. I don't wear rings, as I have never owned many and I always seem to lose them, lol. With jewellery I prefer silver to gold. Jewellery does not have to be really expensive often I am happy wearing the cheaper stuff. So what about you, do you wear alot of jewellery? Which jewellery do you prefer and why?

I wear jewellery every day. I have my nose pierced and so I always have a stud in that, I have different coloured ones so that I can wear the colour that matches my make up or my moood. I also wear earrings, I always wear hoops and have tons of different ones and so can wear a different pair every day too! I wear gold jewellery, sterling silver and white gold.

That is cool geminirose, you definately sound like you have an awesome jewellery collection. Which coloured nose ring do you wear on your happy days? I love hoop earings too, they are awesome.

No, I do not wear any kind of jewellary, even I do not feel like wearng a ring. However, my better half is very found of wearing earnings and necklace etc. And few days back, someone on the motorbike snatched her gold chain in broad day light and ran away with the booty. Even a police complaint could not fetch it back.

Hello, most men don't wear alot of jewellery, however I am suprised you don't like to wear your wedding ring. That would have been a very frightning experience for your wife, getting her gold chain snatched. I am glad your wife did not get hurt. I hope her chain was not too expensive or sentimental.

Well personally, I am all about FLASH! I do NOT wear the fake stuff nor do I even look at it. I will admit when dressing up and going out, if the cute flimsy bracelet and matching earrings with the color work best, yes I will buy them. But 98% of the time I always have on my engagement ring, which is platinum and worth over $5,000 dollars and since my ears are pierced all the way up (8 in each ear) I wear diamonds REAL all the way up and something dangley, either hoops, diamonds or platinum, in worth, in the 1st earring hole. Right now I am wearing a love pendant I got for my anniversary last year which I know was over $500 dollars since I got to pick it out, lol and I have on a pair of gold and diamond bamboo earrings worth $600. I'm not stuck up or anything, but it doesn't hurt to like the GOOD stuff. I have the $$ for it, so I buy it. No harm in that! Just my way, my opinion.

Wow, you do have expensive tastes. Good for you, if you can afford it, that's great. I could never afford that much jewellery, but it does sound awesome.

Hello Tamara, wow your fingers must look pretty good, lol. Did you buy most of these rings yourself or did you receive them as gifts? It would be nice to have a big jewellery collection. Have a great day my friend.

I love jewelry. Before I had kids I'd wear my earrings, anklets, and rings everyday. Now that I have kids i'm just like "uhhhh what's the point?". Now, I usually wear jewelry when I'm going somewhere special. I prefer White Gold or Platinum to yellow gold. I love diamonds and emeralds the most. My favorite piece of jewelry is the engagement ring my husband bought me. It's simple, but that's what I love about it.

I think that is why I don't wear jewellery often too, as I have kids. Most of the time I am running after the kids, don't have time to put jewellery on, lol. I think simple engagements are nicer too, you don't want something really extravegant and chunky that you have to wear everyday.

Hi kiran, I always love jewelry but most of what I purchased when I was single was pawned and I didn't retrieve it back. But, I am glad also since I had some projects out of the money..I love silver too and love real one..I don't have many and I'm not using them anymore except my ring only! Only special occasion if I feel like wearing them!

Yhello checapricorn, yes I too have pawned some jewellery in the past and have lost them, it is such a shame when that happens. But sometimes you need the money so you don't have many other options. Jewellery is great to wear on special occassions makes you feel more dressed up.

I have gone through some different phases with my jewelry as well. At the present time I only wear 4 bracelets everyday, unless I am going somewhere and decide to add something. I have many earrings, some rings that have meaning and necklaces that I seldom wear. The bracelets that I wear are all silver but I really do prefer gold! One was my mothers and I have a necklace somewhere that matches it. She has been gone since 1997. A second one my sister bought me for my birthday several years ago and I just like it and don't take it off. The third is a mother's bracelet that has a heart on it with my birthstone as well as my 4 children's. The forth is a blue band that I purchased from Avon that represents eliminating domestic violence from our society. I do have a ring that I should wear that my daughter bought for me. My ex husband lost my class ring many years ago and my daughter spent quite a bit at a local jeweler to have another made to look almost exactly like the one which was lost. We even borrowed a friend's to remember what it looked like!

Hi Kiran can never remember all of them but Tamara will tell you but blue necklace for my throat chackra to be open jade for my heart jasper quartz crystal-but your best bet is to ask tamarafireheart as she is a qualified healer and uses crystals for that-really she should start a discussion about it as she is also a medium-maybe you could mention that to her as she is shy about talking about it on MyLot-bright blessings littleowl

it depends what i am doing. if i am at the gym, beach or pool, i dont wear jewelry. but if i am dressed, i wear my watch, 2 rings, earrings, bracelets and earrings, and necklace, but depends on the look i am going for. i try to match them together based on a particular look, matching the outfit i am wearing. in the summertime, i tend to wear anklet and toe rings with painted toe nails.

I love to wear jewelry but I make sure they come in pair. A pearl earing should have a matching pearl pendant in my necklace or a pearl stone in my ring. Otherwise, I will only wear one at a time, just an earring, or a ring but never a necklace alone. I have not been used to wearing a mixture of different designs and types, If I wear a gold ring, it must be with matching gold earring of the same design or necklace of the same design. I seldom wear necklace though because they are very attractive to snatchers. For my daily use, I sometimes wear fancy jewelries for us long as they match my get up for the day and for as long as they don't look so cheap. I wear expensive ones on special occasions.

I do not wear a lot of jewlery, I wear a gold chain with a gold cross and that is it. I prefer more expensive because in my opinion I think it looks much better and if broken can be fixed rather than the cheap jewlery where you have to buy it again.

Quite a few people here seem to get skin irriations from jewellery, did not realise it was so common. I love to wear necklaces I think they can really enhance what you are wearing. Have a nice day too.

hi Kiran, I don’t like wearing jewellery too. For one, I find that they take a lot of my time specially in the morning when I am forever running late (and changing danglers can certainly wait) and then buying the latest does become a very expensive habit. When I was younger and had money to spare, I would spend hours at the shopping areas just browsing thru the rings and necklaces and bangles and buying what caught my fancy. But now I don’t do it anymore. It’s a simple small dangler for me, no rings on the fingers except the moonstone, two slim gold bangles and a wristwatch…and I am ready for office.

hello, sometimes I think simplicity is best. Jewellery can be very expensive, that is a big reason too why I don't have a great collection. I don't like also to receive very expensive jewellery as I don't want to lost it. You are right also about not having enough time some days to worry about jewellery.

I have these pearl drop earrings that I just love. I used to have some tiny amethyst earrings and some small pearl ones, but no one could see them. I have a couple of necklaces that are easy to go around my thick neck, one is white with various stones and one is an amethyst purple color I got for my birthday. I just wear the necklaces on Sunday or when I dress up. The only other pair of jewelery is my wedding ring and my anniversary ring and I have them on all the time. The only time I do not is when I have a bath or when I go to bed because my hands swell up.

What month is the amethyst bith stone? I think that is the same birth stone of my eldest daughter, not sure? I have never owned pearls before, I think they are very elegant though. It's a shame your hands swell up, that would be frustrating.

Hello kiran1978, I have a few jewelry that I wear everyday. I have two wedding gold that I wear everyday. The second ring is during my wife 10'th wedding anniversary. We just decided to have each one two compliment our old ring. I have also my digital watch. Not so fancy, so I can tell what time is it. And I have a wooden necklace with a simple cord for. It has the a dove in it, a symbol for the Holy Spirit for protection.

When I was young, I dislike wearing jewelleries, esp gold, silver or dimond. Now I began to love them and like to purchase some to match my clothes. I don't know whether other people have this kind of change when grow up.
