Is technology/science/medicine ultimately the downfall of humankind?

My basis for my question is this. T/S/M has lengthened life spans, allowed life for those with diseases that 20 years ago would have resulted in death, and resulted in travel/exploration in parts seperated by water. With all the good that this has done, it has also resulted in many negatives. Overpopulation threatens food supply and living space. Cultures, wildlife, and civilizations have been corrupted and completely wiped out in some cases. Warfare has gone beyond strength and strategy to pure power and might. Diseases that vaccinations have been created for are evolving to become even deadlier. Obesity has increased to the point where eventually people will eat to their own demise.

You are absolutely right. Technology brings new things which cannot be detroyed, science istrying to create a hybrid creature and medicine is experimenting with human race. It will take time but with in ahundred years there will be destruction of human race by its own doings
