du u forget to keep things back at teh right place?

i generally keep things wheer i took it from, but my wife is always in the habit of never keeping keys at same place twice, and one always has to search the whoile house to get it and open the door, now we are thinking some response gving key attachment so that it is easy to locate the keys

my husbands place to put things seems to move to various locations of the house to where he swears he left it one spot and its not there.. then he swears he only left it there and we look around the house and find it in some weird spot.. but he never knows how it got there..

it depends for me, some things i keep at the same place. others i'm too lazy to keep them so i'll keep at the most convenient place available at that time. the next time i search for it, i too forget where i have kept it.
but i definitely keep my keys at the same place which is on the wall behind the door. i put a hook high so that my son can't reach it but i can of course. and i put my keys there.
