Do you think should we abolish Capital Punishment or Not?

hello everyone. I am new here. I want everyone to express your opioion about Death penalty or Capital Punishment. Do you think should we abolish Death Peanlty or not? At 3,000 people ( and probably considerably more ) were sentenced to death during 2007, and at the end of the year around 25,000 people were on death row around world. China carries out by far the greates number of actual excutions, --while Amnesty International has confirmed 470 excutions there during 2007 and true figure has been estimated up to 6,000. Outside China, at leat 800 people were put to death in 23 countries during 2007, with the Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sigapor, Pakistan, Iraq, and the USA main contributors. I am from China And I am totally against Capital Punishment. I think it is weird and unreasonable to teach society that kill is wrong by killing people. Yeah, we do not have right to kill other people, how does government get the power to kill people?
