Place for shoes

We keep foot ware outside the main door. I don't think its hygenic to get them inside the house , What do you do snakequeen?

I keep my every day shoes in my bathroom when I';m not wearing them. Those are not the only pair of shoes I own. I( have a shoe bag that holds about a dozen pair of shoes and sandals and a shoe rack that sits in the corner of the bedroom that holds another dozen pair. My husband thinks that I have too many shoes, but I can't bear to part with any of then, even those that are old and scuffed. I did get rid of two pair recently. I bought a pair of plastic shoes just for working in the garden and threw away the old sneakers I had been using for that purpose.

We have a rub by the door where we take our shoes off and place them. I like not having the floors dirty all the time and we can always find our shoes. We have keep them in a cedar chest if they are shoes that are out of season.

i keep them in my house. usually in a shelf in my bedroom. but my sandals can be anywhere

I keep mine in my house. If I kept them outside they would probably get stolen. I keep them in my closet, I have a place in there that you can set all the shoes on. It's kind of like a cupboard. At the moment though they are all in my room because my closet is a mess right now, we need to get it cleaned up. It's a walk in closet, my sister shares it with me. I don't have that many shoes though. Just about 2-3 sandals, flip flops, and one pair of sneakers. Not that many, I have never owned that many shoes. I don't really need that many.

Some people said, and I also notice this, if you can find a lot of shoes outside of the main door, the residence of that house is asian. Only asians who leaves their shoes in front of their main door. It is not always true but mostly, yes. I never leave my shoes outside. I have a cabinet near my front door to store my shoes and sandals. I keep it clean and neat so it won't make any bad smell. I never store any shoes in the bedroom because I feel it is dirty.
