Planning the number of children is very important as this may give a big impact towards your financial planning. It is not cheap to bring up a child. So, how many children do you plan to have?

Oic, glad to hear that both of your boys are healthy. Giving birth is not easy and must be a very painful experience. But the love between you and your baby will remain forever.

I like to plan many parts of my life, but this isn't an area where I feel it's necessary. Ideally, I would like to have 3 or 4 children but I don't know if that's part of God's big plan for me. As far as financial planning, I don't think it has anything to do with family planning. When I got pregnant with my oldest daughter (2 years, 2 months old), I didn't have a job but I still went through with having my daughter. Life wasn't easy, but you find a way to get through the days. With my second daughter, I found a job right when I was able to return back to work. Being comfortable with your living arrangements and financially being able to support children does give some kind of relief. It's all about how you handle the cards you're dealt - attitude is everything - and the rest will fall into place.

I think it is very important to plan the number of children. Children education is not cheap nowadays, that's the reason we need to plan in term of finance.

We have 3 kids. We probably would have gone for 4 if it weren't for the financial aspect. we decided that we wanted to make sure we could give the three we had really good lives, rather than have four kids and always be scrapping for money.
