Warped Tour

Yeah I have been to Warped Tour. I went last year (2007) In Barrie, Ontario, Canada. It was soooo kick azz! I had such a great time. We got there early (around 8am or so) and it opened at 11am. So we got in fairly early. There was this massive water bottle fight too which was pretty fun. My fav acts would have been Killswitch Engage, Red Jumpsuit Aparatus, A Static Lullaby, Still Remains, and As I Lay Dying was pretty good. It was REALLY really hot. Thank God I had something like 7 water bottles and gatorade bottles that were frozen so they were cool on the forehead and when they melted they were ice cold. That was basically what saved me and my friends .. Because the lines from ice cream and drinks is really long. There was also a slip and slide water slide type thing that was good to cool off. I dont think I will be going this year because it is about 2 hours away and in a venue that I dont think is so great. Last year it was only 30 mins away and in a good place.

I've been to I think 3 Warped Tour's I think. At 2 of them I got horrible sunburn and was sick from the heat. The other one it started raining. LOL But I definitely don't regret going to them. I saw some good bands, but it seems like everytime I went I missed the bands I actually went to see, most the time because I had to leave early because I was sick. I am a wimp in the heat, so yea, outdoor concerts haven't been too nice to me. But I have thought about going again, but since I moved I am not close enough to any of the dates. That being said, I would highly recommend going at least one time. But be sure and wear sunscreen or long sleeves, and take plenty of money for water, because they charge an arm and a leg for water there, and they won't let you take it in, so that's my advice. Otherwise, it is a great experience!
