i am watching the show "the last comic standing" while my hubby is reading his stuff on the net and he showed me this amazing video and report: [i]Chinese Farmer Flies Self-Built Airplane, Doesn't Wet Pants Seeing as we crapped ourselves twice from just watching this clip, it's a wonder that this Chinese farmer manages to keep it together while flying this death-trap through the skies. The camera only points rearwards at the guy's crotch, but that's probably to show what gigantic balls this guy must have. The guy built this thing out of what looks like dirt and spare parts from broken aircraft, which is pretty much something we wouldn't want to be riding up 300 feet in the air. This reminds us of Mr. Woo, the Chinese Robot Farmer, who built working robots out of stuff he's found at the junk heap. [/i] you can watched the video on this link: http://gizmodo.com/5019978/chinese-farmer-flies-self+built-airplane-doesnt-wet-pants i am very amazed coz the man have come up with a plane on his own and mind you he is just your normal farmer. i have lived in china for 5 years and i have to say that if you see a farmer there you wouldnt think they know much coz i have encountered some farmers who dont even know how to read and write and dont know the value of their money. i remember buying vegetables and i have to make sure i have the coin that they prefer (50 cents) anyway, having said this makes me think that, if this man can come up with something amazing as that without much money, technology and other resources how much more with those who have it and dont even take advantage of what they have and what they can do. seeing this gives me hope that hopefully someone will come up with a car that will not depend to oil and anything that will require so much money just to have one. i cant wait to see some more of this kind of invention. btw, i have to applaud this guy not only for making his own plane but for flying with nothing to support him in case it fails. pretty awesome ei? have a great evening! takecare
