I find that tasteless

I spend considerable time in the traffic exchanges, and obviously I come across a lot of nonsense, stuff like 'make U$ 3,000 today'. Funny thing that there must be people who fall for these scams.
But recently I have seen several times a webpage that promotes a software that apparently gets you (you guessed it) 'millions of visitors'. That's okay, too, I'm used to the absurd by now. However, this software is called 'traffic tsunami', and that's where the fun stops. I believe it was something like 200,000 people that died in the Asian tsunami at Christmas 2004. It was that tsunami that put the word 'tsunami' into our vocabulary. There was, and still is, a lot of suffering in Indonesia, India and Sri Lanka. Those marketing people who try to get people's attention through methods like that must be out of their minds. I find it just tasteless.

I couldn't agree more!
It is already sad that people think so many visitors are worth having. They might not be 'quality' visitors but 'hits' so that's useless.
But the point you make about how they distort a word which has a completely different context is so good. You have a very good judgement on this in my opinion and it is so sad that anyone could use this terminology in such a frivolous manner.
Happy posting!
