Yes in some instance its true specially if you believe in this kind of technique. I believe kungfu fighters love to meditate and also other martial artist do meditation too. I meditate once but never again because i have no time to practice meditation. But I am planning to stop using my computer and focus to my health.

Yes meditation is good for Brain I think it's brain tonic.It gives relaxation to us.

hi zandhi!unfortunately i dont meditate,but i have heared that it refreshes the mind and body,and your concentration power will increase day by day.i have not heared any negtive influence coming by meditation.how do get to know all these foolish things anyway?

Meditation is great, but only if you know the correct way. There are many forms of it, it depends on where/how you learnt to do it. As far as it being beneficial, it has been proven, it indeed is extremely good for mind and body ... The negative influence i agree cannot be ruled out .. but that only happens when we try to get too extravagent. It is advised not to meditate for more than 2 hours .. I dont know much about it, but yes .. it is something i want to learn about in a greater detail.

Meditation opens the way for a healthy, happy Life. I've been doing Yoga for many years and meditation is a way of life. I'm almost 75 and have not had a medical checkup for 35 years. I'm healthy and still working every day. I do yoga every morning for 45 minutes. Life is what you make it!

That's a scary thought! I had not considered
it before. I guess anything is possible.
If one opens themselves up through fasting
or lack of sleep, then I suppose they might
be more easily influenced.
I don't meditate often enough.
Sometimes I pray.

I don't believe that meditation opens us to negative forces. What I believe is that meditation opens us to ourselves and maybe the negative forces that they are talking about are the negativities in yourself. Those negativities in order for them not to affect us in a bad way should be faced. So I think meditation actually does us more good than bad because it reconciles us with ourselves thus we are more aware of who we really are and I think that is very good.
