i just passed my initial evaluation and interview earlier. i will have my final interview next monday. this is the reason why i only have a single discussion today here on myLot. lol. anyway, are you tired of actually applying to another company? are you satisfied and happy with your work right now and you could actually say that i will retire in this company. well i hope that's the case for me. i hope that if ever i will be hired by the company i'm applying for right now that it will be the last. but of course applying for a higher position is different. i want to grow old in this company but of course i also wanted to be promoted as high as i could achieve. have a good day everyone. i guess one discussion for today will do. applying for a job is tiring. lol

Good Luck to your final interview, I believe you can able to make it again. I am currently working outside my home country and i am working with one among the international well-known Engineering and Construction company. In line with this and in connection with your questions i would say i am very happy working with my company. Am i tired applying to another company? Nope! in fact joining with other companies will make us mature employee. But we should be careful if we transfer from one company to the other... you should level-up, say if your company right now is ranking 3, the next time you desire to move... choose another company that ranks either 2 or 1. Here's a tip for you: * The idea of growing old to your proposed company is not practical. When you'll enter to that company you'll see defects of the system that you can't be able to just swallow it, hence, you'll be aspiring to move for a better company. Though, there's no perfect-sustematized company but choose the lesser evil. * Between promotion on position and increase in salary, i would choose salary increase rather than position. You'll understand this fully when you'll enter in a company. Sometimes, positions are just decorations but they are just earning less. On you're final interview i would like you to read the article i have written: The Power 5M's of Salary Negotiation. This would be helpful to you because final interviews are usually being coupled with salary negotiation. Here's the link of the article: http://www.odavonline.com/careertips.html Good Luck again and Congratulation in advance! God Bless.

yes, Yes, I regret leaving my previous company. Long story short. If the company has treated you well with a few issue, then stay with them. good luck.

Ideally speaking all of us want to grow old in the company that we are working with right now. The following perspective however do come up. I should continue to enjoy my work. I should get continous recognitions and incentives I should get regular increments. A good package when I retire. Excellent co-workers Any way all the best with your interview

Hi There, I am totally satisfied with the position and company I am with now. I understand what you are saying however...it sure does not leave too much time to MyLot! I d miss doing that when I am so busy. I do think I will be with the same company right until retirement. That is certainly my hope and desire. cheers,

For me, i don't like to change jobs frequently, i have already worked for the current company for neary three years, i once thought of quiting, but i do have reasons not to. for chooseing a job as a occupation lasting for as least five years, i think we should first think of the industry whether it is suitable to us. second, we should choose the kinds of job we like, for instance, do we prefer management or technique? after those kinds of learning, we could make our decision.
