what prompts a person to commit a crime? it is his need to have fun? a reaction to the societys excesses? or something else? or a decision on the spur of the moment ....

yes dear rashmi i am fine thank you and hope for the same from your end. where were you all this while?
yes as you say it is the difference in perception and interpretation.
my intention of starting the discussion is to encouage people to think that a criminal is not born . it may be prompted by the excesses of the society.and more often than not these are the reasons.
do you agree?

                            hi juhi,
yes i agree becoz the society provoked the person to do the crime.....in my opinion only our society can change the preception of the person becoz everybody have quality to do something but they dont have facility to grab the oppotunity please give me ur opinion also.

There are many things which prompt a person to commit a crime and these may be, poverty, state of mind, recklessness....,
It also depends on what society defines as a crime, some individuals will justify their actions , which in the eyes of the society will be a crime.

                            yes dear alokn
rightly said. many a thing will determine this factor.for example multiple wives or many husbands to one wife. .it is seen in many societies and in others it is being seen as a crime. with the male/ female ratio being disturbed adversely in our country too. tomorrow two brothers will perhaps marry only one girl and share their wife. like draupadi- the wife of five padavas, and we may have to amend our laws.
