Stressed at work? then quit

I have been too stressed with my work right now in this company. Simply because they give me too much workload and they seem to forget that I'm just new in this work. Almost all the time they expect me to finish a certain work within a day, problem is I can't handle more than two workloads at the same time and that's why I become more stressed. My workload by the way involves a lot of data gathering and data entry. So do you think that stress at work is a valid reason to quit?

No. if you're only reason for quitting is because you are so stressed you will never ever stay long in a work everywhere..stress is part of work know how to handle it..having to many workloads while you are still new should serve as a challenge for you..they are just testing your limits..if you can do well then that is good for you..your boss will be eyeing on you your boss might say "hey this guy is good i will keep him" or "i will hire him as a regular staff" see? think things on the positive side..a quitter will never win a battle keep that on mind.

Well actually my work right now is actually very far from the course that I have taken in college. So I think that besides the stress is that I can't find fulfillment here. Thanks for the response anyways.

but for me i will quit if i am stressed with work. i am not a quitter but if i am no longer happy on the work i am doing i will really quit. i will find something that can make me happy and not be stressed. whatever your work is no matter how high it pays as long as you are no longer happy and is always stressed out then i think you need to quit. this is what i will do.

Not to put pressure on you, magojordan but kaezy_kulet has a very sensible point. unsolicited advise: Try to live each day in a way that you show them your BEST at all times. If you feel stressed, chances are, your bosses/workmates will have all the more reason for them to put more stress on you. Law of Attraction, dude. Try reversing the situation. One day, go to the office/workplace with chin up and a sun shiny mood. Try to let them feel that you are anything but "the stressed out guy." Hope this somehow helps.

You shouldn't get stressed because of your workload. If you have to much to do you should explain this to your supervisor, it is their job to ensure you have the correct resources to be able to do your job correctly and efficiently.

Most time, its my work..with ontime deliveries and work loads. I try to divert mind on music and i feel better. We need to manage stress, as it is part of life in busy world. But if we concentrate, we can manage it. I does it through my yoga, listening music and going out on vacation. But i love my job.
