It was my first time ever to go to Divisoria. I've been hearing of that from my officemates and I was kinda curious, what made Divisoria so attractive to them so I joined them one Saturday noon time! My goodness! lots of items at bargain prices I could not believe, panties at 3 for 50 pesos, hand towels at 10pesos each, curtain materials for as long as 25pesos per yard, toys for as low as 25 pesos, picture frames at 50 pesos, sunglasses at 25 pesos or 3 for 100 and 50 each. Name it and you can have it, and lots of bargains I could not believe! But 2 things I did not like.... the place was so crowded and hot that I could hardly move and breathe, and most if not all of the items are of poor quality except for the curtain materials which to me is really worth buying. That was my first time and I have not returned to that place till now. Maybe some other times when I need new curtains. How about you?

Yes I've been there 2 months ago too and it was my first time in the place. I love sopping there only if you have lots of money to do so. There are a lot of things to buy for yourself and for your family as well. The prices are cheap compare to our place too.

that's only a few complaints I also have regarding divisoria but if you're on a tight budget that's one of the best places to go to... It just takes a little effort on your part but your money is maximized and stretch to its utmost capacity..

During my last visit to Manila my guide brought us to Divisoria. He warned us to be careful with our bags as it is famous for pickpockets. True enough the place is over crowded with shoppers and street kids. Yes, i agree that the goods there are sold dirt cheap but of poor quality. I love to visit that place again.

I always go to Divisoria. I go there whenever I have orders of souvenirs for weddings, birthdays, etc. and whenever I have to buy materials for my candle making business. It is where I also buy gifts for my "inaanaks" every Christmas. You just really need to sacrifice if you go shopping there, coz the crowd is really thick. So, next time you go there, tag me along. I'll tell you where to shop there.

YEah! i love going to divisoria.. But the big problem is that is to many people. I love going shopping there. The price is very low and your money will buy many things there. Foods are also low prices. But if you're choosy you have to buy food whatever you like with a high price. Nowadays, we have to practical on things because the primary things we buy are very high now. Just buy wisely.

Good to hear that you did experienced being there. Yes, that is the problem on that place and as far security is concern, it is dangerous specially for the snatchers. All the low price stuffs you found on the market or dry goods or even in the small store in town was from there, since Divisoria is the best source for wholesale items.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Divisoria! I love going to Divisoria, so many bargains, and so many cheap things around. If you are a compulsive buyer, you can go there, and satisfy your compulsion. Of course, if the price is really cheap, the quality suffers much, but still, there are items there which can be bought for less, with good quality or same quality as the rest. Like the hamburger grill I bought there, cheaper by php1000, same quality with the ones I saw in Quiapo. The only problem is the parking area, I have to ride a cab going home so I paid an extra php200 for the cab, all in all, I was able to save php800, not bad. To avoid so much crowd, DONT go there during the weekends, christmas season, and before the opening of classes. Never wear jewelry and always mind your bags, snatchers and pickpockets are also rampant there.

I love shopping in Divisoria. If only it wasn't so hot and so crowded. I did find a number of great clothes there at an unbelievably lower price as you would usually see in malls. I think the last time I went shopping there was back in 2006.

Since we prefer to shop inside divi mall and 168, I'm not bothered by the heat all that much. I hate the packed crowds though, especially inside 168. But the bargains are worth the trip. You'll think differently if you have your own business and rely on divisoria for your materials.

Even the Divi Mall was hot due to jampacked when I went there! But maybe really if I have my own business I will think otherwise.
