He let me sleep in today!

As unusual as this is, I woke up this morning, and looked at the clock which read 6:41! I was wondering what was wrong, because it was light out, but the house was quiet. I looked in to find my normally early-rising toddler still asleep! What a nice surprise. We've been having some stressful days and I really needed that! He was so thoughtful to let me sleep in. He must really love me!

Isn't it great when your kids let you sleep in? My daughter is 5 and she is an early riser and if I want to sleep sometimes I will tell her to watch cartoons but no she wants mommy to get up too! Glad he let you sleep this morning!

Wow, he might felt that you still need more rest. So he didn't woke up that early. Toddlers can't express their feelings very well but as mothers it's really a different feeling.

It is always nice to sleep in. I have 2 early riser and my husband will wake up with them once in a while and it always feels so nice. I like waking up after the sun comes up once in a while! Enjoy it when you can!

Good for you! All mothers welcome such simple treats yet very helpful to our well-being and sanity :-) I hope you get more special treats in the following days.
