Favourite place to eat?

My husband loves buffets and lately his favourite place is the Golden Corral. He took me on Mother's Day and even wanted to go Father's Day. It has food stations, Asian, Mexican, American - fish, salad and fruit. All kinds of desserts. I think its for those who want to indulge in some decadent eating - there are some good dishes there. A lot of meat - its their trademark thing.
Although I went once and observed a family who got huge dishes of raw vegetables - one to each plate and ate it together. I guess to each their own.
What is your favourite place to go out to eat - is it the food, atmosphere - something else.

Hi There,
I am with your husband...I love buffets. I don't know if it is the atmosphere or not...but I really like them. I prefer Asian food and buffets and we have a really good one called the Imperial Buffet. My girlfriend however hates buffets and prefers to be served. Needless to say a lot of compromise goes on in our relationship!

He likes asian food buffets and we can fill up a container and bring it home! The Golden Corral is good because its family friendly. He makes buffets budget friendly as he can eat a lot. I like when you can bring it home and eat it several times, so sometimes we compromise.

there is a place in here called subdelicious..and they serve my favorite hot bufallo wings with fresh carrots and with a fine dip of cultured cheese..i dont know what its called maybe a yeasted cheese...its so yummy..i love it so much...i eat with just one korean restaurant..i love the kimchi..the cucumber kimchi..sam guep sal..the one with the grilled pork and you wrap it with lettuce...and then add some fried garlic and onion on it..deep it with olive oil with salt..taste so good...i go for the food..

Although it does have a good atmosphere it is the food that keeps me going back to Uno's. It is the home of Chicago style pizza.It has the best deep dish pizza on the planet.I go to Uno's every birthday.Their pepperoni deep dish pizza would be the last meal I would order.

We ate at the Golden Corral on your last vacation. I really like it as there is something for everyone! We like to go to USA Steak Buffet for all you can eat Steak and salad bar too. For the best cheeseburgers we like to go to Culvers.

I really do not care for buffets, since I am not a big eater.
My favorite place is a little Italian seafood restaurant called Marino's, one town over from where I live.
My favorite dish there is the St. Gregory's. which is basically garlic shrimp, but it is so good. My husband has his over linguine, I like to have a baked potato with mine, nice salad with blue cheese dressing and cole slaw. Yum Yum
