Yeah this is a White Birch Tree I think. But the thing about it is the shape of the growth it has done. It looks almost like a human leg and knee jopint. This was taken at the Springbrook Nature Center on my wife and I walk we took last weekend. I think it was worthy of sharing here. Any odd shaped trees that you have seen?

I guess this is what they call "bent out of shape" huh? I have seen some unusual trees in my lifetime but never one like this one as far as I can remember. I don't have pics of any that I have seen since I have not had my camera that long. Thanks for sharing.

There are a lot of odd growing trees at that Nature Center. I loved this one a lot though and couldn't resist it. Thanks for your comments on almost all my photos as well. They are greatly appreciated.

Here is a shot of 2 dragonflies on the bend of
this tree as well. This species of dragonfly was
all over the trees that day.

Hello dear Grandpa Bob. This tree is really odd shaped. It looks like a chair that we can sit on for a rest. I have also seen some trees that looks like human legs. It is a well-taken photo, Bob. Keep it up.

I've seen some really fantastically shaped trees when I was a child. In Arizona, they have cacti, usually saguaros that are odd. I remember one looking as if it was holding a phone receiver to its ear and another that looked as if it would be well-endowed if it were a human male. Strange things out west!
