Most of the serials on star plus has become so predictable that a person can tell a story before hand only. Star plus now should try to change its content a little bit by introducing more reality show, Weekly shows and comedy show.

well i watch the star tv serials becoz of my mom , and now they are gettin on my nerves...if i could meet that ekta kapoor i am sure i wud take her head off her immature shoulders...the characters in the serials have now taken a 40 year jump but still manage to look the same... i wish there was a formula like that in reality where we wudnt change in appearance even after 40 years

Komolika - Komolika- The vamp from the famous star TV soap 'kasauti zindigi ki'
They are all the same only the characters change but all these serials have more or less the same theme. The heroes have been shadowed by their female counterparts, They are like dumb puppets and do whatever the ladies make them do. All these serials have on good girl who is very very good and always suffers, and her tormentor is always a beautiful lady who plays the vamp and controls the entire serial. All vamps have their own unique entry music and just by listening to it you can make out whether 'Komolika' is on screen or 'Tara'. I therefore do not like wasting my time in these meaningless soaps and spend time either watching movie channels or discovery or animal planet.

actually i watch many of them but I dont like any of them. Ifact I keep pin pointing the errors and the stupid mistakes that the directors or writers make i the serials. For example, in "kahani ghar ghar ki" ever since the generation has changed, you notice a new child(nai generation) in the house. they just keep on adding new children putting aside all the goden principles of family plannig ;-).Also there is apparently no age difference between a 60 year old Daadi and a 25 year old young girl. infact Daadi looks more beautiful. and the list of stupidities goes on.

I have noticed one common string between all the "Indian Soaps", irrespective of whether they are on Star Plus or Star One or Zee TV or Sony or any other. And it is marriage. Almost all the characters marry more than once, and usually do not marry the people they are in love with. So whether it is the K serials or Paraya Dhan, O Saathi Re, Vaidehi, Mamta and so many others which I have never watched, the common string is marriage!! And the leader (if I am not wrong) among all the frequent "bridegrooms", it is Anurag Basu (played by Cezzane Khan) in the soap "Kasautii Zindagi Kii" who has married nothing less than 4 times!! The lucky (or not-so) brides are (in chronical order) Komolika, Prerna, Aparna and Sampada. But the women themselves are not far behind. In fact Prerna (played by Shweta Tiwari) in "Kasautii..." has herself married thrice (the order being Mr.Bajaj, Anurag, Mr. Bajaj) and even Komolika has married thrice (I do not recollect the first husband's name, Anurag and Shubrato). Even Kashish in "Kahin To Hoga" has married thrice (Piyush, Sujal, Mr.Ahluwalia) and she is due for marriage again sometime in early 2007!! With such frequent marriages, close followed by frequent generation leaps, there is not too much else for the soaps to show!!
