Would You Say That Your Kids Are Smarter Than You? Have You Ever Felt That You Simply Don't Know The Right Answer To Their Queries? When My son and i are studying his lessons and doing homeworks, I am sometimes taken aback by the wordings used in his books. The books itself are advanced, i think for a grade four student.Funny though, he knows the answers and understands what the words mean. I even went to the extent of asking the teachers. They too, think that students nowadays are far more advanced than the previous years..the way they talk and comprehend things. When he asks me questions about what he has studied, I didn't simply forgot the answer! I remembered that the subject or topic was not discussed to us when I was his age, but was given to us when we were in grade 6. On a positive note, i'm happy my kid is advanced. Makes me read his lessons first before we discuss it. That way, i have ready answers. I'm learning too..
