What's your nickname and how/why did you get it?

The only person that calls me me a nickname is my mother. She calls me Pooh or Pooh bear or my name+ pooh ("dreamy pooh"). When I was a baby my aunt gave me a Winnie the Pooh doll. I had that doll for years until the neighbors dog chewed it up I was so upset. I still love Winnie the Pooh and have a big Pooh doll I've had for years and some Pooh figurines on my dresser. Oh yeah my father used to call me name + baby.

Hi. I have quite a few nicknames. My father used to call me "Bhalu"(bear) because of my habit of getting angry on conceptually small matters and then shouting out at people. Some of my friends call me "raju" which very much resembles my real name and comes easy to our accent. Some just call me Prince, that what my name means.

Does it? I don't think there is anything amusing abut it. I am not complaining, it's just I didn't expected anyone laughing at that sentence.

My cousin gave me my nickname (KK) because he couldn't say my name. We lived next door to each other growing up so saw each other daily. In fact, he is almost like a brother to me!

That's nice. I wished I lived closer to my cousins growing up. They lived 8 hours away but I get to see them every summer. We were close growing up.

Yes it was very nice, especially since I didn't have any brothers or sisters at that time!

I love teddy bears, and when my son was born, I called him Pooh as well. I actually called him that until he went to college. Now I call him by his name. Everyone called him Pooh, and he didn't mind. I had no nickname growing up, my husband has a nickname for me, which is my username, there is a story behind that. lol

A fellow pooh. I don't mind either. I'm a lot and I still get called that.
