Yes that where the give and take takes place. What ever ones weakness can be understand by each other. Thats how we take our places. I know that she has a weakness that i need to understand and I have also weakness that she need to accept. That way we can keep out love together for a long time.

For me I prefer my lights to be turned off. I like it dark when I sleep because it makes me feel sleepy a little bit faster. If the lights are on, I'm somewhat distracted to it so I can't sleep that easily. But if I'm tired I don't mind if its on or off, I just care about to rest. So there, if you like to sleep well go and do which you prefer, lights on or lights off.

Hi nerdy_marc, Thats good to sleep with the lights turned off, Same here friend, I can sleep faster than the lights turn on. Maybe thats no exception, if we are tired we all go to sleep whenever, whatever we want just keep in mind that the place should be safe before we go to sleep. I preffer lights turned off. Thanks for the response and have a pleasant day to you my friend...

Yes many responses here is just like you, they want to sleep at dark but some of them sleep with the small dim light from their devices or lamshades. Its really hard to sleep while the light is turned on. Have a nice day and take care.

I've almost always had a nightlight since I was a child. There have been periods of time as an adult though that this wasn't enough and I had to have on the light to sleep. It's usually during times of emotional distress and turmoil for me and its not just about being scared of the dark so, sometimes I gotta have that light. But there are other times that I can turn it off.

Hi heero1103, I've seen your blog and its nice, I love to watch anime too. I love to download torrents too. We have something in common I guess. Watching too much horror movie is one big factor of that scary night time. It happen to me too, don't worry many people experienced that they just don't admit it because they don't want to be called coward. "Pinoy pa, dapat macho" lol.

It is the duty of a wife to give first, so your husband is very lucky to have you as his wife.

I must have darkness, complete darkness, in order to get off to sleep. Then, once I'm asleep, if a light is turned on it wakes me up. I often think that if burglers come in the night they could get away with everything if they don't turn the light on as noises don't disturb me. I can sleep through a thunderstorm but any light, however small, wil wake me.

hi oliverdt, i prefer sleeping in the dark. even i can sleep at all with the light turned on. i don't know but i think commonly we sleep better in the dark. do you watch in movies, a certain prisoner is usually punished by letting the light turned on, so the prisoner cannot sleep well.

I can't sleep with the light on it keeps me awake. I can't sleep with the tv on either from the noise. I would also think that sleeping with the lights on would run up your electric bill that would not be good.

Hi petercheung, I know that many respondents here have something in common specially like in your situation. When still a kid they are afraid of the dark just like you and when they get older, they can't sleep in a bright light. They love to sleep with a dim light around them just like you. Thanks for the response and have a good night sleep.

I, too, am scared of the dark, but my SO can't sleep with the lights on. We tried a nightlight, but it was still too bright. We went and bought a nightlight with a blue light and it puts out enough light for me to not freak out but has the right color so that my guy can sleep.
