just saw this on tv..a woman stood by and watched her son die slowly!

Not for a week, a day, but for months. I told my hubby you just try and let me stand by while some1 hurts my child. I told him that the person trying to injure my son would definently have a butcher knife to their throat and it would take a fleet of cops to pull me away! I mean shoot just think we spend every day trying to make sure that we (1) don't get in a wreck (2) keep our eyes on them carefully so they don't swallow anything that they shouldn't (3) learn to respect others no matter what age they are..Sorry, just can't understand the kinda mom that can birth a child and then show no emotion when shes asked to apologize to her now dead son so he can rest in peace..But, anyway whats your thoughts on this? he had broken ribs collerbone and femur and alot more.

I think I am beginning to sound like a broken record. There is no way I would stand by and allow someone to hurt any one of my children. I would die first before this happened. I spend my life attempting to ensure their safety from every corner of the world. Stiffer penalties are needed for people who abuse a child in any way. If they were forced to feel the pain that they inflicted upon an innocent child, would the next person think before the committed the same crime? I believe that they would.
